Poul Jorgensen - A Celebration of His Life

Saturday, April 2, 2005

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY – MARCH 23, 2005 – With the passing of Poul Jorgensen in late 2004, the angling community lost the most accomplished fly tyer of our era. He left his inimitable mark on each and every person with whom he came in contact along with those that simply had an interest in flyfishing.

On Saturday, April 2, 2005 the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum in Livingston Manor, NY will host a memorial service honoring Poul's very distinguished career in flyfishing. Everyone is welcome to share in this celebration recognizing Poul and his countless contributions to flyfishing.

Plan on joining in this celebration of his life beginning at 11:00 am with a special video presentation by the award winning videographer, Jimmy Ienner, Jr., highlighting Poul's life. This will be followed at 11:30 a.m. by personal remembrances culminating with everyone releasing a feather into the wind from the Museum balcony in Poul's memory.
