23rd Annual Banquet & Benefit Auction for
Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum to be held May 28, 2005
LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY – APRIL 19, 2005 – The count-down has begun for the Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum’s Annual Banquet & Benefit Auction on May 28th. This year’s co-chairs Miriam Stone and Mary Lou Magdelinskas promise a fun-filled evening in support of CFFCM and its educational programs. The event begins at 5:00 p.m. and will be held at Kings Catering located on Old 17 in Livingston Manor, NY. The cost is $35/person and includes a buffet dinner with beef, chicken, fish, and vegetarian dishes on the menu.
One of the traditions of the annual banquet is the live and silent auctions featuring a variety of goods and services. The silent auction takes place during the cocktail reception [5:00-7:00 p.m.] and the live auction commences after dinner. The live auction is where dinner guests have the chance to bid on one-of-a-kind items and exclusive opportunities such as weekends for two at various Catskill locations, custom-built hardwood fly tying furniture, trips to foreign and domestic locales, opportunities to cast alongside fly fishing legends, access to some of the Catskill’s most private waters, and much, much more.
