2005 Lee Wulff Conservation Award Given to Stephen Sloan
Award Presentation to Occur on June 28 th at the Anglers' Club of New York
Livingston Manor, NY – June 7, 2005 – The Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2005 Lee Wulff Conservation Award. This year's award is being given to the late Stephen Sloan in recognition of a lifetime's work dedicated to conservation of America's sport fisheries.
Established by Joan Wulff in 2003, the Lee Wulff Conservation Award recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to the preservation of wild gamefish and their habitat through protection of the waters, catch and release, and/or education programs for youngsters. Previous recipients of the award are Philip Chase  and Gardner Grant .
Presentation of the award will take place on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at the Anglers' Club of New York located at 101 Broad Street in New York City. Accepting the award on behalf of her husband will be Nancy Sloan. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. and a buffet luncheon will be served. Seating is limited and the cost is $30/person.
