The 10th Annual Eastern Bamboo Rodmakers¡¯ Gathering in the Catskills will be held the weekend of September 10-11 at CFFCM. This extraordinary event is open to novice and veteran rodmakers alike, as well as those of you who are just thinking about building your first rod, but need a little extra push to get started. There are workshops for beginners and experienced rod builders, as well as a casting clinic and other activities.

Space is limited and reservations are required. The cost is $75/person, which covers coffee & light breakfasts, catered hot lunches, a Friday night reception, and the famous Saturday night chili cookout. Limited overnight accommodations are available in the CFFCM bunkhouses on a first-come basis.

Participants at this event have a hand in creating the ¡°2005 Gathering Rod,¡± which is donated to CFFCM for fund raising purposes. Raffle tickets are still available for the 2004 project and can be obtained by contacting the Center at 845-439-4810 or email flyfish@catskill.net for more information.
